Mercury retrograde – Another chance to slow down and reflect

Mercury retrograde is always a reminder to listen, learn, clean up and sort. In the practical, earthy sign of Taurus this is even more so. Much of the retrograde will, however be in Aries, a more confrontive sign than Taurus. Before and after the actual time when Mercury goes direct (April 25^th – May 12^th) Mercury will be conjunct Uranus, planet of revolution and revelation. The combination of Taurus and Aries here makes me think that we should be paying attention to protecting and caring for the things we deem as valuable because there will be many unexpected changes once it goes direct on May 3^rd.
