Aligned for Mercury Retrograde

Some say this world is alive: Always speaking to us if we have ears to hear. Everything from the birds who build their nests under the eves of our porches to the penguins recouping from oil spills. She speaks to us and through us.

Today also offers a rare moment of connection between heart and head. Arriving at last, for a moment at least in deep understanding of each other. So much is shifting – we can never return to the way it was. A mind/heart moment is more than useful.

Yesterday and today are hot; bothered; easily spun into a froth of chaos. But they are also days for breakthroughs and daring to be our honest selves. The hour belongs to those who are able to listen and negotiate at eye level with what stands before them. Fear Not!  There is nothing but what is. 

It’s hard to have a rational discussion when the subject matter is absurd; like which kinds of torture are permissible.  Sometimes it’s enough to make sparks fly from the head and tacks to issue forth from the mouth. Still it makes sense to negotiate rather than simply clobber the person you are encountering. Maybe we all need to read The Art of War.
