This story reported at TheStar.com about a black couple  whose marriage ceremony was banned at the last minute by a white congregation received the attention of the media.  I am sure the congregation felt entitled to make such a decision, but in  a million years did not anticipate the limelight of the world to be beamed upon them.  uh oh !

In the family of mankind we all have ancestral histories of narrow thought that kept our groups defined, safe and protected.  As the world turns we grow, transform our beliefs and our values are updated.  While in some nostalgic past the update occurred over generations, the information age is updating  the group consciousness almost daily.   If we ignore the signals to revisit an outdated belief system our friend the Trickster, shows up three times a year to nudge things along.     With Mercury’s connections to the media, the experience can be akin to therapy bootcamp.

On the bright side, growth in consciousness for the group is accelerated.

My heart’s love and compassion goes to the congregation, the minister and the couple to be supported in wise choices today.   May they align with the best of the Trickster’s opportunity to change.  We all benefit when they do.
