Sometime today I felt a shift in energy for no apparent reason and began to feel lighter and at the same time more focused. I thought perhaps this lightness of being could be attributed to the dregs of a flu virus, touch wood having lifted because now I feel like catching up on a million things.
Then it occurred to me that we are now officially (right Julie?) out of the shadow of Mercury retrograde and that together with Julie’s mention that the moon is now in Capricorn (see her tweets at http://Twitter.com/juliesimmonsast I of course more than most would be mentally focused. I am a Capricorn.
It felt like a long Mercury retrograde than most. The flu dragged on for me, not severe enough to be out of commission and bed ridden, but not my perky best. The news caught my interest in terms of Mercury retrograde – The Icelandic volcano eruption (read Julie’s blog post ) certainly caused lots of travel problems, new Ipad owners were ecstatic over their purchases (Taurus’s value for things) but I saw lots of Twitter grumbling about setting up the applications. Then there was that nasty oil spill with no end in sight. I hope mass consciousness at least learns the value of our interconnection, the fragility of the planet and puts a stop to our thirst for oil at any cost. Plenty of communication problems in that mess but as the week came to a close and Mercury’s shadow faded solutions seemed cautiously optimistic.
This Mercury retrograde totally forced me to slow down BUT I did manage to finish the quilt I started just before Mercury went retrograde in September 2009! YEAH! Now that things have lifted, I am looking forward to a few new starts.
How about you? What was your take on Mercury Retrograde April 17-May12 2010?
All the best,
Carolyn
